Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is fed up with those questioning whether he has what it takes to continue in his job.
- Wenger, who is used to being questioned by supporters and pundits alike, is facing a fresh wave of criticism following his side’s poor showing in the Barclays Premier League.
- With his current deal expiring in the summer, Wenger was asked at a news conference ahead of the FA Cup fifth round replay if the way fans react over the rest of the season would affect his thoughts over signing a new contract at Arsenal.
- “Look, I have worked here for 19, 20 years,” Wenger said, “and I’m always sitting here having to justify that I’m good enough to do the job. What I find just boring is always sitting here after 19 years to face, ‘Do you think you are good enough?’ If I am not, somebody will tell me.”
