Source Close To Couple Refutes Sandra Ankobiah And Paedae Breakup Rumour

On Sunday, online rumours surfaced that celebrity couple Sandra Ankobiah and Omar Sterling (Paedae of R2Bees) had called their relationship off due to an issue related to a supposed pregnancy.  But a source close to the two told that the rumour is totally untrue and is a mere attempt by bloggers to bring attention to themselves.
Sandra and Paedae are still together,” the source said. “The report is not true. She did not go to the UK for an abortion. That’s a very wicked lie. Paedae is still in a relationship with Sandra. There has never been a breakup. I don’t see that happening anytime soon. The two are still seeing each other. As Omar explained in his interview with LIVE FM last year, they both are private persons, hence why they kept the relationship out of the public two years before making it known. He actually laughed at the report.”

Since their then two-year old relationship became public in July 2015, this is the second time rumours have had them breaking up, and the two are largely responsible for it. Before Paedae confirmed they were together as a couple, Sandra adamantly denied they were anything more than just friends, so there’s no telling if they’re together or not.

Many celebrities have the same expectation of privacy as non-celebrities, so they try to keep their personal affairs private, but in so doing they create room for false rumours.  Sooner or later celebs need to realize that their celebrity status, that which allows them to make money like any other job, is only made possible by having fans, and those fans want to know what’s going on in their lives.  By simply putting it out there, whether good or bad, it keeps those who do merely want to draw attention to themselves from putting out reports that everyone knows are false.

Until celebs start being more open, though, their fans will speculate and they’ll have to live with the rumours.
